White Tara (Sitatara) is known as the Mother of all Buddhas. Her white color indicates purity, but also indicates that she is Truth, complete, and undifferentiated. White Tara/ Mantra Throw:
White Tara is associated with longevity. She counteracts illness and thereby helps to bring about a long life. White Tara embodies the motivation that is compassion and is said to be as white and radiant as the moon.
White Tara Mantra: Mama means “mine” and indicates that you’d like to possess the qualities of long life, wisdom, happiness, etc. Ayuh is long life. Punya means the merit that comes from living life ethically, and this merit is said to help one to live long and happily. Jnana is wisdom. Pushtim means wealth, abundance, or increase. Kuru means “do it!” or “make it so!” With this “make it so!” we’re imploring White Tara for an increase in wisdom, merit, and long life so that we can gain enlightenment and help all sentient beings. Svaha is an exclamation meaning “hail” or “may blessings be upon” and is a common ending to Buddhist mantras.
